Canadian Culinary Championships
Top Meadow Farms Certified Artisan Beef was chosen as the key "black box" ingredient for the Canadian Culinary Championships held in March in Toronto. After extensive regional playdowns, seven leading chefs from across Canada gathered for a final weekend of competition to name Gold Medal Chef in Canada for 2008. All proceeds from the events went to support the Canadian Olympic Team.
All of the chefs and judges raved about the quality of the Certified Artisan Beef. In particular, Melissa Craig, the god medal winning chef from Bearfoot Bistro in Whistler, British Columbia, said, "It (Top Meadow Beef) had great flavour, I might try to get some for the restaurant".
